Diversity in the Classroom

Here is some pics of one of my third grade PE classes. We are attempting to play a 2 on 1 keep away game that was derived from the Field Game Section of my activity book. As you can see I have a variety of African American males and females as well as Caucasion males and females. I do not have any other races added into this class, although I do have classes with students of the Hispanic race in them. Unfortunately I could not find another class that had turned in all of their forms signed by their parents stating that their child could be photographed. In this class I have a mixture of students who have special needs from speech thearpy to occupational thearpy, but you could not tell it from watching them play in PE. This is one of my favorite classes cause as you can see in the pictures they actually try to get out and have fun in PE. One of the young ladies in these pictures I am especially proud of because last year when she was in the second grade i could not get her to participate at all in PE. She was new transfer to Crossett because of the sudden death of her parents and she would not open up to anyone now she is out there playing and having fun like a child should. Can you guess which one she is? Exactly.
